There are so many things I love about you; I couldn’t possibly Get them all out. You are my motivation; You are everything. I love the way you tell me It'll be alright just when I think It will all fall apart-- No one else could convince me like you do. And the way you touch me when all seems lost Will always be a mystery to me. How do you know just what to say To break my soul out of its habit of self-pity? And how do you still stand by my side? I'm not sure I understand How you love me so persistently. I find irresistible the way you speak to me-- With a voice so soft, So understanding to a complicated heart like mine. Even when I don't understand these emotions, You have a solution to my problem. Oh, you'll never know What an inspiration you are to me! -kh I won't go; I won't sleep; I can't breathe until you're resting here with me... |
