Have you ever seen sunshine flowing through a prism It begins as one pure light, totally without schism As it flows, the colour grows And becomes a rainbow, shining risen Have you ever seen Sunshine's write flow across a page It contains elements of might, small elements of rage In her word, a song is heard And colours print is Sunshine's wage Have you seen the pure encouragement, she gives to everyone Her sunshine ever present, as she faces down the sun Her rainbow light, ever bright And crystal facets show her sense of fun Have you ever seen the way her poetry, brings pure light The way her true discernment, can wash away the night Her colour shows, as light bestows And light becomes much more than white Have you observed the way that Sunshine takes a stand Using every tool, she has, at her rainbow command How she stands strong, to right the wrong How her light by passion's fanned Have you felt the light and warmth she scatters on the way A gift of light and sunshine through every living day A prism deep, to promise keep With crystal facets Sunshine's play Religion is for people frightened about going to hell - Spirituality is for people who have been there. Mark, yes she is all that and more. Spitfire, if I've written a treasure it's because Karilea is pure gold, don't ya think. Sven, so glad you can see it too, I knew you'd get it you always do.  Marsha, glad you can see the picture, it's probably good that I can make word photographs because my real life photographs are are guessing game as to their identity, no heads, fuzzy etc. *laughs* JM, thanks for quoting me back it always sounds better when someone else says it.If I am the poet queen you must be the poet emperor. Charisma, did you have a good break, your comments are always welcome thanks Sunshine, thanks for the poem response. I only wrote this because you are up there with the other poets that only do what they are able... that is reach out to others in their poetry... and do it all excellently.
