What is a Man By Richard Maxfield (Inspired) 10-13-2000 Where upon lays the essence Of mans mortal soul On strength, wealth Or even power When not his heart Is true to family His mate His child Where in lays his power If not to change his heart To what is right, evenhanded Being fair and true To his mate What is a man Who does not Provide for his child Does not care To be large part of their lives Has not the heart to nurture Were in lays his heart On feast of the flesh Denying the spirit Reveling in darkness Lift up your eyes Cleans your heart Make amends Your day of justice Is coming Eternity awaits Be you ready |

I remember this poem very well, it's in my top three favorites of yours if not my #1 favorite! This has a very strong voice filled with honesty and sincerity. I much enjoyed this wonderful piece! Thank you for sharing, my friend! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |
