at home during the vacation break with nothing better to do spending long days surfing the net and reading and doing not-too-particularly meaningful fulfilling stuff,

he felt alienated from the world wondering if the world recognized his existence bemoaning that hardly anyone(those he called friends) cared enough about him

til he received well wishes from his friends(some whom he had already forgotten, he was ashamed to admit) via electronic mail, snail mail, handphone

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

feeling warm and good,
his loneliness and inferiority demolished,
he heaved a soft sigh of awwww
