Would She be Strong Enough? Virginia Salter Could one make an angel out of sugar and spice? Might she face all the tragedies, the maladies, the vice? Would she be strong enough to stand the strongest storm? Or protect a new babe on the day he was born? When concocting an angel, perhaps seek elements of steel To face the day-to-day world and its harmful appeal. Yet steel that’s not tempered with practiced use and command Has not wisdom nor ability to provide what’s needed to stand. Suffice it to say and to say it quite well; Only God makes an angel that can shield us from hell. © December 23, 2000 |

Through out my life if not for the hand of God I would never have made it. Great writing. Love and light, Richard |
