~The Ink Well~

Droplets of ink splash from a poets pen
enraptured, captured by the visions that emerge
words flow, unspoiled, rich and abundant
as deep thoughts of things seen,
some unseen, take shape in creative minds
portraits are painted as poems are created

A poet will sing a melody on paper,
paint poetic words
as long as the ink well never runs dry

I see your ink well is full and you are doing a beautiful job of painting on paper. Enjoyed this very much.
