The skies are restless today as the spirits wander....searching. The winds roar when the white wolf howls .....into the silence. The trees bow in respect.... to the elders. The children play hide and seek ...among cotton candy clouds. The heavens are painted blue..... with their laughter. The winds stop to listen.... as the elders speak... ...of days gone by. Days...... when the earth was their mother and the land .....was their home. They speak of a time...... when the spirits watched ......from skies above. A time before the skies became a playground...... for their children. 12-21-00 On the wings of words our spirits fly, and our souls are free. ~me~ |
