How is it I should love you By Richard Maxfield 7-20-2000 Through the good and the bad Matters not happy or sad Loving you when there’s tears In spite of times and aching fears Even in good or bad health In lack of riches or even wealth Matters not if we’re shy or bold Matters not when we’re young or old I love you though tempers my flair Holding you close though life’s not fair Loving you at dawns first light Just being with you alls made right With hand in hand for walks in rain Romantic slow trips in rocking trains Sunny bright days at the beach Always close with in arms reach In a sweat on hot summers night Sharing all feeling so right Distant blue mountains in a haze Nothing compares to your gaze These are but a few of the ways I will love you the rest of my days |
