Veiled In "Blue"

Do you think of me often, as I think of you
When the moon is full and the sky's dark blue?
When the clouds bring a haze, over moonbeams glow,
Do you think of me then, do you wish me to know?

In the nighttime of last, as that moon, almost full
Broke away from the haze, leaving me in it's pull,
I kept following the trail, that my eyes viewed beside,
Wanting feelings of knowing, to release them, their hide.

When life hurts me most and you've always been there
Do you notice the comfort in the words that we share?
Do they reach deep within, do they tug at your strings
When the slightest of touch, from mine, pleasure bring?

All alone in the darkness, no stars seemed to be,
Just the blueness surrounding, and cresting their sea.
My mind, peaceful stating, intense upon you,
When I raise up my eyes, into yours, veiled in blue.

Do you know what your kisses, in silence create
When you press them to mine, and my hunger, they sate?
When the wholeness of you, fills the wholeness of me
Do you linger in thoughts, as we subside quietly?

The seas of the clouds, their tides taking hold.
They swirled, as to choke all the glow of the gold.
In passing the beams, appeared voids in this sea,
Of the night time in calming, within darkness set free.

When releasing my sighs, do you notice my lips
Do you see know how I love, when you touch just the tips?
Do you see my smile growing, eyes sweeping your face
When the nearness of you, pulls me into embrace?

Still rounding the bend, in homeward be bound,
As the blue thoughts kept rising, as desires surround
The moon of my being, missing slice, crescent thin,
Tomorrow brings dawn, and will empty, full in.

Do you know of my passion, as I watch shadowed eyes
When I mirror desires and the moon behind cries?
When it loses it's powers, when the light begins rise
Do you think of me then, in the dawning of skies?

When the tide of emotion has swept over me
Will you be my "forever",  will you float me your sea?
When the calm of your dark, in the midnight of blue
Reaches light, waking moments, will you think of me too?

Sunshine and ~Victoria, I was  searching for blue poems and ran across this..have you ever reread something you wrote and wondered who wrote it as if it couldn't be from inside you...this is one although, if my memory and date serves me correctly, which it rarely does, this was the day after my husband asked to be free of me....and the moon was full and hazy outside my car window on  my drive home from a day away.

thank you
