Some people strive to
   make it through life
With no cuts or bruises
   NOT ME
I'm proud of each
   and every scar I bear
Oh dont get me wrong
   I could have lived
Without the pain

But you cant truly live
   if you never know pain
You cant have happiness
   if you've never known tears
So I wear my scars proudly
   and someday you'll see
I'll find a man who understands
   The beauty in these scars

My bets go on you as I have no doubts that you will find that love.  Wonderful write from you and so true.  You can't truely know love if you have never felt the pain.  Happy Holidays to you.

Yes, I have to agree Paula some of the pain that causes scars makes one more aware of the good things love has to offer..and it truly does if it's worked at properly...take care ......ethome

Paula,
couldn't we all have lived without the pain. I'm glad you wrote this, and it's a good write to boot.
Write on, be strong

There is a lot of wisdom in these verses...life is a balance of pain and good. You can't have one without the other.
