Virginia Salter oatmeal, whole wheat toast steaming hot cocoa snuggle pillows, comforters barren weeping willow toe-socks, wool scarves sofa by the fire whispers, soft and titillating loving words transpire you and me, hand and knee kisses, cho-co-lit and real cozy, comfy feelings Christmas bells at peal tannenbaum, yule log tinsel, mistletoe cranberries from the bog eggy-nog to go snowflakes, tail-wag shakes frolic in the snow sledding down the hillside abound with joy in tow nestle me, nuzzle me dreams dance in my head won’t you come along with me before we head for bed? winter is for cuddling promising the world watching for the glistening in the clouds unfurled sparkle bright starry night brittle 'cicles cling carolers and cardinals lift their tongues to sing come on child play with me as we wile the hours winter’s love, it just must be until our springtime showers © December 15, 2000 |
