Souls Like Crystal Snowflakes Not so very long ago during a midnight it chanced to snow and early, around 3:00 a.m. or so, I awoke to a glistening glow. There was no sound, no apparent life, but only in a fairy tale-like dream, could I imagine souls like crystal snowflakes come upon my scene. For there was a sparkle all around as the skies had cleared and the moon abound came forth, over the land covered white, my crystal snowflake souls and I, alone in the night. For each flake was an individual spirit before it joined its companions white and like my world, they all joined in unity, to make things appear so right. So may souls like crystal snowflakes abound round you this year; and keep in mind during summer; that in rainbows they will appear. ©KRJ 11 January 2000 |

Thank you Elizabeth...I was fortunate to find this one that matched my thoughts...to catch a snowflake in flight and imagine a soul floating... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

Kari, this is so beautiful, it really is, Oh this is so calm and wonderful. Each of those snowflakes drifting down and then laying a blanket over the earth. Just like the angels coming to sigh as they watch you write. I'm sure they lean a little closer to you, peeping over your shoulder so they can spread your wonderful words to those who haven't got a day off. Utterly brilliant work from you love, it really is. Take care Majestic Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

hey Kari, i really love this yuh. I saw the title and jumped cuz i remember Dream Evil challenging me with this one. here was my effort back in open 5 Souls Like Crystal Snowflakes Fall, souls, like crystal snowflakes Each unique yet very well Blanket the earth alone alike From great length just who can tell She fell to the earth one day To me she was fair and clean Not like the dirty snowflakes Throughout the field were seen She was so fair yet so divine Gently I touched her in my hand And I could see inside her soul To the beauty that shared the land Holding her close the wind it ebbed Every facet of her was clear Melting between my fingers lost Shed by God, He keeps her near |

For there was a sparkle all around as the skies had cleared and the moon abound came forth, over the land covered white, my crystal snowflake souls and I, alone in the night ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sunshine, I truly enjoyed the entire poem and the above quote which I highlight for you brought back a memory when I lived back east how I would sit in the yard upon the first snowfall and just touch each flake as it gently came down as my eyes were fixated at the stars... Hmm... were you there watching me Honestly sweetie, this one you write is dear to me, hence a keepsake from your heartNpen to my library... |
