Watching the filled sky,
Ice winds brushing clouds away,
Discerning mine eye.

I can see all the cliffs and precipice
Draped with misty veils of promise of snow,
The eagle flies from mountain peak and away,
Pausing to circle in a thermal twice,
Then drifts off to where he wanted to go.
Now the winter comes this December day,
Snow too heavy fills the afternoon view,
Till all color is brought down to only two,
Black of where shadows dwell and snowy white,
Sensory chaos lasting through the night.
Thoughts drift on memories of life’s journey
With all the places, lost lovers and friends,
Pains of what I’ve done and been done to me,
With the coming dawn the snowy rage ends.

Watching the filled sky,
Ice winds brushing clouds away,
Discerning mind’s eye.

Viewing clearing skies
Icy winds bringing forth new
Feeling the crisp air

Refreshing your thoughts
Anticipating with eyes
What lies within mind...

hmmmmmmm don't ask..*s

Gloom,
what a picture, what a write
kept me crying half the night
made me yearn again for snow
with eagles wings, to lead me so
made me wish for peaceful times
made me desire gentler climes
and as I read I saw the grace
pictured there upon your face
It helped my spirit start to soar
and made me yearn for home once more
that's not the homeland of my birth
I yearned for home beyond the earth
with your write I saw God's face
it left me in a gentler place
thank-you for this poetry gift
that helped to heal a heartfelt rift.
Write on

Thank you, nakdthoughts,
Your poetic replies are always a pleasure,

Thank you, Kethry,
You also use a poetic reply,
No greater thing can a poem do, than inspire
More poetry.

To Wynter and Kethry,

Soft snow is sprinkling,
individuality
differently beauties.

Gloom
