Leftover Moon
~*Marge Tindal*~

~ Waning ~
Oh, leftover Moon
hanging high in my morning
not used by lovers in the night
A paled shimmer of promise coming
when curtains fall the next twilight
Oh, leftover moon of lovers seen
after the breaking of the dawn
Save your light for the love
some sweet thought
will spawn

Just when I thought all the great poems about the moon had been written, you create another beauty. Loved it!

Now its my turn to compliment your moon poem. This is teriffic, creative, not your ordinary moon poem! And I like the way you formatted it!  The moon does have a changing personality..we could write a book about him I think!

*sigh* I love the moon and all the promise of romance it has. This beautiful poem tells of the sadness I feel as I wait again for the fulness of the moon and hope that maybe this time the promises of romance can come true. Much love to you from me.

Love I leave with you my friend whether it be in your life or of yet the essense of your dreams. http://path2riches.com

That leftover moon is there for beautiful hearts such as yours that KNOW that love isn't only for the night.  Oh, what wonderful times the morning is...wouldn't you agree?  Yes, of course YOU WOULD KNOW!!!   Beautiful my sweet friend, just as you are in so many ways.  Hugs and love to you.

~ETHome~
When I stepped into my yard the other morning -
there she was just hanging there -
seemingly not used-up from the night of lovers -
thusly was spawned this little jewel.
I've grown quite fond of it.
I'm pleased to know you enjoyed it too.

Ramses~
I certainly appreciate your reply.
Thank you so much.

Thank you for enjoying it.
