Caged Child A caged child is aware of life’s dreams but unable to live them. Seeking peace from with in, its only chance for survival. Life’s unforgiving for those who are prisoner to freedoms realm, and darker the destiny becomes if nobody takes a chance on them. Man has learned in so many ways how to take from the weaker of the species and this also includes their own off spring. In times past there were certain codes, family, blood, and love these placed mental boundaries of a sort between them and the willingness to betray even the dearest of souls. Like wise so called humanity has turned its back as well, faint out of fear to get involved. Because man has devised so many ways of entrapment for those that’s wish to intervene. Pleading the child learns and those that put them there in a state of abuse should plea for life’s chance at freedom and not be shown any mercy or roam life freely. So give of your heart if you see a child that knows not of freedom and scorn those that put them there. By, Cerenity "God doesn't have to be reminded that we exist. Hi < !signature-->Marge and Irish Rose Thank you for your kind replys to this poem. I find that during this time of year it is especially importain to rememeber the children in need of any kind, but most importainly the child missing love and wormth companionship and stability. In the world to day compamys and T.V. promote the gathering of gitfs to spread amoung the needy children yet these same children go home to abuse and no cloths, food or even a bed, now don't get me wrong I think what there doing is awesome but this should be looked at ALL YEAR long with the same fervernt desire to help don't you think, any way thanks again and have a wonderful holiday.
