I never quite finished this poem, I think it's done now. The true of salt We are conceived of the salt of the sea The ocean its motion and filigree. And when one of our loved ones say us goodby We cry a salt tear from the source in our eye. We offer salute their return to the sea Unto the creators genesis trustee. There are no words that can say them goodbye Except from the salt of a tear in your eye. You can always spare a drop for the dead There is enough for a tear to be shed. We offer the soul of our birth and our goal The very salt that's the source of our soul. To all that have come and all that have gone. And even of those of yet to be born. Cry for your loved ones, cry them goodbye Shed you a tear of the salt of your eye. Give back a drop of inceptions salt sea For birth, its end and perpetuity. |

Without salt, life would not be so flavored... This is another keeper Sy...you are filling my library... I shall build an annex... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |
