Sitting under a tree of uncertainty she waits for me She beckons my heart and touch’s my soul but are we ever to be Drawn in by a kind nature and an innocent soul and heart I didn’t want there to ever be an us, but now I don’t ever want to be apart You see there is a fence that separates our bodies and souls Left with only kilobyte kisses and words that begin to take their toll Why must the one I find be too young to hold and too young to kiss But above all else, old enough to miss I’ll keep on looking for the gate on this fence of 3 years long Hoping that your feelings will stay as strong If I am to find it early will they look at me in disgust Will they ever understand this is more than a brief moment of lust The leap of faith I will take, in your arms I hope to land Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain But I'd of had to miss the dance |

kilobyte kisses... interesting Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

Mereel~ What a poignantly longing write. 'Why must the one I find be too young to hold and too young to kiss But above all else, old enough to miss' Wow ! Hopefully time will make a difference. Welcome to Passions. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

This feels like a deep thought...many deep thoughts., I enjoyed reading. "Always be a first rate version of your self instead of a second rate version of someone else." Marilyn Monroe |
