Do you remember the time you hit me so hard that I couldn’t breath? No? I didn’t think you would, People, You, Have a bad habit of forgetting, Ignoring, Lying about the times you have bloodied your fists on my heart, Do you remember that? Do you remember the time you wrapped your sweet jaws around my neck? The time you tore through my skin? The time you stole my life? No? You don’t remember? These things stand so clear in my mind, I know that they happened, They are not imagined! I can feel the scars crisscrossing my back, From the time you laid into me, Throwing me across my world, Forever separating me from myself, I know that my scars, And my sores, And my memories, Are more than your forgotten sins, They are more than your careless lies, They will always remain, As my persistent now. |

powerful words, oh she knows....but to forget is a way to ease the pain....no to hide the pain, till it shows up and knock you down. hope you will feel better soon. Charisma |
