You I sit here, with the darkness, and my thoughts turn to you All alone.. And yet, while you are alone in the physical sense Know that... I am here, now and for always, as a shoulder to cry on As a rock, to hold on to, when it all becomes too much As an ear, to listen to your problems, whatever they maybe, To listen to your joys, and your sadness, To help, to hold, to stand back and smile at everything you are and will become, You are so much more than you know, and one day you will find yourself, And on that day you will understand what I felt.. For you are beautiful inside. Your smile and words bring me light, and happiness, Who you are is the most important thing, And while my feelings for you have changed, and I no longer long for you when I am alone, And when I am not.. You are one of my most important friends and I still think of you, for I do care so very very much, And, like the eternal rock of ages, I will always stay true, and will always be here for... You |
