With tears in my eyes I look up at the sky But all I can see is you That one tiny star Used to seem so far But it was there in your eyes of blue When I walked that floor Then I shut that door And walked out on all our plans Your face in my mind When I left you behind Leaves me longing to hold you again (chorus) The taste of your lips Your fingertips Are all just a memory now If you'd be so kind As to move out of my mind I've got to forget you somehow Your sweet perfume Still brightens our room It's driving me out of my mind I hear your voice in my ear Almost like you're near But I know it's for good this time You're a bridge yet to cross But I can handle the loss As long as you leave me alone So set my heart free Give it back to me It's been loving without you too long "Don't wish upon a star...Reach for one!!" |
