What is more mysterious than a red rose? < !signature-->the bouquet within tickles your nose a stem alone in a bud vase adds beauty to soft candlelight in your delicate hand it adds grace soft velvety petals.. crimson red if it is laid upon your pillow sweet dreams serenade your bed intoxicates the shadows silhouettes quietly dance crimson whispers in the meadows the fawn in the morning prance If you awaken in the morn, to find your satin pillow bare maybe, a dark stranger slipped the crimson rose in your hair A poem is never finished, only abandoned. - Paul Valery (1871-1945) [This message has been edited by Victoria (edited 12-04-2000).] |
