Holding hands in the park Softly kissing in the dark Lightning flashing cross the sky I watched it reflecting in your eyes Every day I drift back to that night Watching movies from the bed Images rolling through my head Making love on rainy nights Then falling asleep in soft moonlight What I wouldn't give for one more try one more sunset by the sea one more picnic under the trees one more smile as i tickle your knee one more kiss from your sweet lips one more touch from your fingertips one more memory with you is all i need hearing you say good-bye Was the saddest moment of my life Then I watched you drive away With nothing left to say What i wouldn't do to turn back time "Don't wish upon a star...Reach for one!!" |

One more memory of you, oh Jeffrey this is so warm and passionate, so often we do bring back memories of times we wish had never passed, One more time we do try to play it back with our memories and in our dreams. I enjoyed this very much. [This message has been edited by Rosebud1229 (edited 12-03-2000).] |

Jeffrey~ You tug the heartstrings with this one. How lovely are the memories - how sad the goodbye. *Hugs* my friend. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Jeff, What we wouldn't give for one more memory to add to the collection. Good-bye is always sad my friend. Remember, tomorrow is a brighter day. A wise man told me that once. Jenn Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
