The moon composed a sonnet fair
Oh quite an indelible feat
In iambic pentameter
For eons twas half complete

The moon bathed the world in beauty
The world reflects its shine
How'd the moon complete its sonnet
By discovering this love of mine

From my love which inspires me
I only reflect its glow
I can write sonnets completely
From this untapped well below

How'd the moon miss my love's beauty
For it reaches deep and covers wide
It is the one I drink when thirsty
And I am always fulfilled inside

Was the moon caught and mezmerized
By the waves in the gentle ocean
How can one be satisfied
By such superficial emotion

How can i not think longingly
The moon it just shines the earth
The true wisdom is in the well
Given by our Christ Jesus Birth

Look in deeper whispers chanting
Of many wise men old as moon
You will take up pail of water
And cast away the silver spoon
