Carolina Days & You < !signature-->Amy M. Kennedy I look up at the flawless Carolina sky The same color of blue that reflects in your eye No clouds to be seen, no a perfect Carolina day And once again my thoughts turn to you And I'm just carried swiftly away Pine trees sway gently in the wind A robin just flew by as I think of you once again Summer is over and now fall is here And if I shut my eyes real tight I can almost feel your presence here 1000 miles seperate us two But distance can't end a love that is true 'Tis true Indiana is not down the street But im still reminded of the intensity And the electrifying heat But Seasons change, they come and go Our love doesn't have to...tell me it isn't so The embers of passion still burn just as bright And I still remember the ecstacy we felt As we left night...and entered sweet morning light Autumn leaves are collecting on the ground You call me up...your voice a beautiful sound Telling me that you love me I know you can't see it, but I start to grin Looking out the window to watch summer leave And the next season Autumn rolling in *think things are gonna be just fine.* "The head learns knew things, but the heart forever more practices old experiences" [This message has been edited by Aimster (edited 10-09-2000).] |

I liked this. I too think of my absent love on beautiful days like the one you describe. Wonderfull work. Keith W. Mullin Even in the darkest night, someone will be there holding a candle for you. |

hi Amy ... you've made some nice parallels to a season's changing, without being too flowery (like me sometimes) ... very nice and from the heart ... |

Very beautiful and serene "If my words could blanket the skies and fill every corner and crevice of this earth, still this won't be enough" "Maree Russo" |

Lovely Amy! You painted a closeness of two souls beautifully, even though such a vast distance separates them ... wonderful! Best wishes, /Kit |
