Back in '96 Mr. Sparks wrote a short novel: "The NoteBook" - One of the most romantic sensual books I've ever had the pleasure to read. Excerpted below are two short verses he interjected in the story line - If you read them and like them (even if you don't like them) I hope you're inspired to read the book - short and not expensive. The body slows with mortal ache, yet my promise Remains true at the closing of our days, A tender touch that ends with a kiss Will awaken love in joyous ways And Our souls were one, if you must know And never shall they be apart; With splendid dawn, your face aglow I reach for you and find my heart ~You have to have a dream so you can get up in the morning. ~ Billy Wilder |

Bill, I have all of his books and they are wonderful. I hope you have encouraged others to check them out. They are in for a treat!! Lone Wolf Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
