Heads or tails the coin is tossed, What will you gain or what have you lost, Our life is like a coin being tossed up high, One should take a close look and see the other side. Too often we listen to only one side, Not knowing or caring if this person lied, We need to know the truth behind what is being told, So not to place blame and the other carry the load. Because you choose to beleive only one, This person was condemmed, hurt and alone, You turned away without a care, Only you lost a mother's love to share. Her life was a struggle all through her years, She thought she was strong while holding back tears, God never left her in the days alone, Who are you to cast the first stone. She desparetly needed for someone to care, What did it matter, no one was there, Her heart broken into by someone like you, She accepted defeat it was all she could do. She will never get over the hurt and pain, Of cold isolation her chidren ordained, They chose to beleive the lies that were told, One day will come and they will carry the load. Sometime or another a coin will be tossed, Guess who will be chosen and truly lost, For every tale there are two sides, One will be truth and the other lies. My children you see by judging another, Your turn may be next, and your life torn assunder, Listen carefully and learn from your mistake, Watch the coin and do not participate. |

Roselee... Let me start by welcoming you to Passions. You have made a very strong entrance with this poem. Very powerful and thought provoking, and oh so very true. Again, welcome and excellent post! ~Sheri "The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first" |

Sadly there is way too much truth in this piece that you have penned and you left some very wise words of wisdom in it. Welcome to Passions and I hope we get to see more of you. |

Welcome to our world...your first post really speaks to me...telling lies...even if you tell them to yourself...only hurts other people...and for what? What purpose does it serve? |

Roselee~ Hi Great first post. I hope you enjoy passions as much as the rest of us do. Thought provoking piece...thanks for sharing Tracie~ What goes around comes around Isn't that what they say Bring sadness to some Lonliness to others What goes around Comes around Mark my words Duck for cover You won't see it coming Not for awhile any way All of a sudden you wake Your world turned to grey For now it is your turn To be sad and alone What goes around Comes around As your heart stays Like solid stone Thought you may appreciate this one Tracie~ Love is the life of the soul... It is the harmony of the universe |
