Once, you edged near til buried inside, reality weakening my frivolity. I was absorbed, my essense guarded within bonds of acceptence, strengthening my reserve. Without restraint you sheltered, veins pulsing to life, my face a radiance of serenity. Pooled reflection in your dark eyes spoke volumes. As the blind reads braille, so you touched the blushed pages of my cheek in verbless caress, as one quietly confessing. Now ill-used; white, crisp pages, once speaking to me become curl-edged parchment with no voice. Ink fades into illegible smudges of nonchalance. < !signature--> ...chanson~ Music, tonal clear & pure, Caresses the harshest of curves. -me, Song of Gesture [This message has been edited by chansondegeste (edited 10-08-2000).] |

Chanson~ Oh .... I like this ! The intensity grabbed me and held me. 'As the blind reads braille, so you touched the blushed pages of my cheek in verbless caress, as one quietly confessing.' Wow ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Oooo, I like it! I too like that same stanza. Abra "So often times it happens that we live our lives in chains And we never even know we have the key." -Already Gone, The Eagles |
