Singing my song, I tread the night, Like a traveling whisper, On the wind. Floating in treetops, Peeking from behind Autumn leaves. Alighting upon ears softly, Like a lover's nibble. Feel the hush of breath, In momentary solitude, Suspended in the ecstacy of thought. Then.. Retracing steps, Back to the origin of the whisper. Looking for a new path, And instructions for the next journey. My name isn't Baby, and I don't want to cyber. |

Wonderful illustration! Loved it! sp ![]() Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these: 'it might have been.' -John Greenleaf Whittier |

the whole time i was reading this i thought of Puck in "a midsummer night's dream". i like the imagery in here, especially this part: "I tread the night, Like a traveling whisper" well penned. I am reminded of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "I drank what?" |

No problem! I really like your writing style and use of metaphors! I have to say, my favorite one is the one about driving to work at 3:45am. ![]() |

Whispers winging waywardly within winds whistling wisdom wonderously finding fondness from feathered friends feeling flirtatious fondles from furthest familiar forwardings Exquisite writing from you in this one and so inspiring in it's beauty and sincerity. Loved it much truely....Could you tell?? |
