The Rest Of Eternity Ain't it funny how time slips away When you say those three little words? How the world just disappears For a single fleeting moment The tenderness of your voice Still lingers here in my mind I long for the day when I can Hold you and hear you say that You'll be mine forever If I could be granted but a single wish I'd wish to live happily in your arms until the end of time I'd gladly give my last breath Just to feel your kiss To know that I made you happy If only for a moment There simply are no words To describe this love I feel for you To tell you of the ache I feel clear through to my soul Though we aren't together You still hold my heart across All the lonely miles I sometimes lie awake at night And think of things that you have Said to me You have given me memories That time itself cannot erase And the best thing of all Is the fact that this is Only the beginning We have the rest of eternity To share this dream together |

Ok ok I need to stop this....sniff...another tissue please. This is wonderful. It has me down to the last word. Quite simply beautiful. I would like to ask if I may print this out so that can add it to my file so that I may read it later when I become discouraged. But I will only do this if I have your permission.
