I've searched along a path, that I have learned to walk alone. At first I felt the cold around, and wouldn't let it in. I opened up, and only found the pain I hid inside. It took some time to realize, it was nothing I could hide. The path I led began to turn, the colors slowly turned. The browns began to wither, and the reds and purples bloomed. The beauty I was searching for, has now appeared in sight. I only have to look inside, and wander towards the light. |
