a burning sun rose out of an eastern sea though it was winter a still warmed parts tenderly an early snow came thick reminding emotion I was sick with flu but left it alone as a passing notion the morning faced sky with you while cool winds formed tears in eyes corner another days dawning leaving a yesterdaz sigh wiping away moments bleu there in a blur I searched for worn sultry shoe & while in foggy haze I thought of me & you and O what a time we've traveled o’er daz vanishing hue and arresting the thoughts we need construed O yes dear what a time it’s been indeed I thanked again my God for time in loving you. If I could paint a portrait, of this life in which I've led, and somehow sketch a story, of the visions in my head, I'd start out with a canvas, stretched tightly in a frame, and in the bottom corner, I'd leave room to sign my name. Lucky - a lovely set of sentiments, and a terrific presentation. It isn't easy to do this, but you make it look like it is. |
