don't touch me please I might reach back for you in want of finding me and a soft and caring touch right now is the last thing that i need i know i wear my mourning with eyes half full of tears but I don't know why and I wish I could tell us both but the words are lost to me I think I hid them to escape the responsibility I do wonder the source of so many tears and I try to reason out why some songs and driving home makes me cry why the cold wind that takes away the green makes me want to give up trying and why these days my smiles are so hard to find but each time the overfilling tears are more than I can take and so I blink them back and with a shrug of my mouth and my shoulders I go back to working too hard so please don't touch me not now a soft and caring touch is the last thing that I need. In want of finding me I might reach back for you and find the honesty in me [This message has been edited by Corazon (edited 09-25-2000).] |

No, thank YOU, Corazon for your fabulous insight into human emotions. I know what you mean, I think. The dam can look solid but one small crack can bring it tumbling down |

I do wonder the source of so many tears and I try to reason out why some songs and driving home makes me cry why the cold wind that takes away the green makes me want to give up trying and why these days my smiles are so hard to find but each time the overfilling tears are more than I can take and so I blink them back and with a shrug of my mouth and my shoulders I go back to working too hard so please don't touch me not now a soft and caring touch is the last thing that I need. In want of finding me I might reach back for you and find the honesty in me ================== yet we live and breathe in the moments of needing that touch... awesome reflections Cor, awesome take care... jm |

Corazon, I love reading your poetry. You put so much of your heart and soul into it. How often have I felt the very emotions you wrote about in this piece? Too many. Those times when we know that we will collapse with the simplest, softest touch are the times when we need it the most. ((((Corazon)))) Take me as I am or watch me as I go |
