Written for my son's kindergarten class. They thought it was gross! Young Frog Young Frog sat on his lily pad, watching the bugs go by. Every now and them, he would flick out his tongue, and munch on a plump fresh fly. Across the pond sat Lovely frog, her eyes were large and black. Young Frog croaked out a melody, Lovely Frog just turned her back. Young Frog leapt from one pad to the next, to show is ability, He slipped and fell face first in the mud! Lovely Frog laughed with glee! Lovely Frog sat with her nose in the air. Young Frog thought, "What will it take?" Lovely frog sniffed the air casually, From behind her, came a large snake! Young Frog croaked out a call of warning, but Lovely Frog wanted no mate. Young Frog made a dash, to frighten the snake. But, alas, it was too late! Young Frog went back from pad to pad, he slowly sat down on a log. He flicked out his tongue, and caught a mosquito. Such is the life of a frog. |

Shows what a girl gets if she doesn't give a guy a chance! Loved it. Abra "So often times it happens that we live our lives in chains And we never even know we have the key." -Already Gone, The Eagles |
