TERMITE AND SNAIL There was this termite Just minding his own business Munchin on some wood All of a sudden He noticed this snail oozing Right across his path He narrowed his eyes And with a wave of his leg Yelled “Shoo with you.. out!” The way sluggish snail Lifted a brow and then asked “What? What did I do?” Ok.. there.. lol. I had to leave you with the challange of figuring where this is going to go?? The termite taken by the questioning of snail grew angry and huffed He promptly raised brow took a gander at snail's shell thinking it rare wood one jump he was there tasting delight in snails shell tastebuds awakened new that my dear poet friend of challenge in Haiku lies escargo's birth [This message has been edited by Mark Bohannan (edited 09-30-2000).] |
