Fairy tales of the heart

As I engage my gaze
on the page
I ponder still
until the time
renders me to disengage
my words that get jumbled by
these thoughts that go
faster than I could possibly
deem to surrender
My mind is a dream weaver
to which my body often surrenders
to the fantasies of new endeavors
that come my way
words that eradicate me from the quicksand
that we so often seep into
dive into the blue clear ocean
and sing a melody so sweet with
all new words that suddenly come in view
and astound the eyes that dream
a dream of such sweetness and surrender
into the land of fairytales
that do come true through
the imaginations of our heart and mind.

thank you so much Vicki, Life would get pretty boring sometimes but thanks to the imagination I can go far away into that beautiful fantasy. Calgon take me away!! well you know what I mean..
