A Challenge In The Name Of Peace

**Daniel J D**

I ask you in the name of peace
To seek love in exchange of hatred
Touch the heart of somebody you have not met
Telling them you are happy to be a friend
In the name of peace

I ask you in the name of peace
To visit the mother or father
You know have been abandoned
In a home for the aged, hold them
Telling them you are sorry
In the name of peace

I ask you in the name of peace
To seek out the needy and lonely
Share a meal with them, fill them also with love
And before you leave, tell them you will return.
In the name of peace

I ask you in the name of peace
To reach out to the children
You have forgotten
Bring them home again
Tell them it is still their home
In the name of peace

I ask you in the name of peace
To put away hatred, never to be seen again
Drop your weapons, for bouquets of flowers
Open your hearts and homes to the poor
Let the sick be comforted
Knowing the world is not ill anymore
In the name of peace

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
(Daniel J D)

DJD~ I would never put my parents into an old folks home, I'd never send my children out on the streets.......the people that do that sort of thing break my heart..........but I like guns and flowers but not for unnessesary violence, the guns I mean.   -SEA

Victoria,
Thank you so much.

SEA,
I understand where you are coming from, please do not take this personally. There are many people like yourself out there who would not do such things. I appreciate your concerns.
