No Choice First love, parted by time shared again, raptures kiss sweet bliss... too blind to see A slap in the face not from hands from truth reality, a punch in the gut A golden ring we shared a dream come true take the chance, dare to love it away No choice the monster too strong no strength, no fight only tears... what might have been You had to go a walking shell walls of fear, nails driven not what you needed, unbearable pain Always in my dreams do you live? did you die? only heaven knows... I had no choice BloomingRose |

BloomingRose~ This one's kind of sad ... 'A slap in the face not from hands from truth' ^ Great line ^ 'only tears... what might have been' Sad when the might-have-been's taunt us. *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

The might of beens can haunt ones every being until a closure of some sort is brought forth to the table. Your words inspire as the truth of life shows in your words below as they rip and tear at us. A slap in the face not from hands from truth reality, a punch in the gut |

Marge, Think I wrote this one to myself. It's been a few years since all that. You know what they say... you can't recapture the past. Some have too much baggage, I had to learn the hard way. btw... the sun did shine for me once more. Thanks for reading. Deb |

Mark, Sometimes truth is worse than a slap in the face, but like I said to Marge, that was then and now the sun shines once again, although the memories will always be...both good and bad. Deb |
