The Curator

Creator of the Gallery, the one who holds the key
Painting portraits of the friends of passion’s poetry
Penning out the sentiments of poets tenderly

He lifts a poem off the page, uncovering his find
Exposing all the beauty in the heart and in the mind
And essence of a poet who has left his mark behind

He lifts the shroud of secrecy in which the eye’s encased
So delicately he etches, the features of the face
The lines of life, the lips that speak, the heart he will embrace

We stand and gaze at the portraits hung upon the wall
The verses from a pen of gold that captivate us all
The Gallery of Poets, which is looked upon in awe

Another portrait finished, another poet friend
Another face is written by the brilliant eye of  Sven
Engraved in Passions archives to be looked upon again

Thank you, dear heart
Liz

Liz, thank you so much for this. . . I'm honored and moved. . .

I'm amazed that the Gallery has been so well liked. . . I wanted to say thank you to those people and poets that have inspired me over this time, and to Passions as a whole for what it's done for me, the Gallery just came to me. . . and, as in your poem,  I'm just "The Curator". . . the real portraits are in the words that all of you write. . . from your hearts, and from your souls. . .

Thank you again my friend. . .

and it is amazing how he accomplishes this through only "virtual knowing..."

well done, Lady Santos...

You are all right. Sven's Gallery of POets was a wonderful idea and all of his poems are so beautifully written. I, for one, have enjoyed reading each one as they appear each day, THank you again, master painter and curator for these lovely tributes.
THank you, poets for your comments
