"The Child in Dark" I wish to lie beneath the cypress in the springtime of our love as time entreats the healing seas and hearts embalm For bitter wind's relentless roll is tempest's tease in winter's glove I am a child in sorrow's pure and pulsing palm And though the years were brief we flew each precious hour upon the wing in flight, serene, we placed our hands on trusting's tome Now in the mist of morning's wake in drowsy dream alone I sing but like the child in dark I cannot find my home Rainydays |

Would the fear of a child in the illusion of darkness be better lit in the knowledge of weakness that is shared in all of mankind or is it better to be illuminated over the passing of time in slow manners of teachings? It seems that time can be an issue in most all we do but the real issues is the time lost in not venturing out in daring moves. Lovely write and much to be taken into consideration in this piece. Loved it much. |
