 You don’t ~~ Know Me ~~, but I know you these eyes see everything you do They gaze upon each word you write onscreen to mind, within my sight your thoughts define your heart and soul my eyes have viewed and so have told me of your love and of your need your passion’s fire consumes with greed my longing ache so deep within You don’t ~~ Know Me ~~, except as ‘friend’… You don’t ~~ Know Me ~~, but someday will you see my face, but I am still not picture-perfect-tempting-lust but in these eyes, a childlike trust just wanting to reach out and say that maybe we will meet someday when standing on two different shores our hearts will join in astral force and we will be as one in thought and letting distance harm us not… you don’t ~~ Know Me ~~, but what I read of yours has planted longing's seed your voice would fall on waiting ear your smile would spawn enduring cheer your touch would lift my passion high and from within, pull out a sigh your eyes would through my fortress see the naked truth of all that’s me your kiss would always feel at home on lips that won’t leave yours alone don’t judge me footloose, fancy free just take some time and ~~ Know Me ~~ |

Sunny1 it's amazing how much of someone you can see from that which is written. We expose so much of ourselves with the poetry we write. You've done a wonderful job capturing that sentiment. Rich |

This is one where I say...I wish I had written it...the words flowed, as did the melody of the piece... maybe, perhaps, I DO know "you"...{~,^} Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, then speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |
