          Simple Words
          by Ron K. Fox

Across the infinite stretch of miles
The winds will drift your fragrance to me
And through the lightlessness of night
The warmth of your luminosity is all I see
Everlasting is your velvet touch of gentle hand
That is forever there to comfort me

This moment that we partake in
I declare will always be
Embedded like diamonds in gold
Set with care, unfathomed within memory
Like eternal currents carried to heaven’s shore
Ushered upon the tides I journey your sea

For your tender love, I cry out, I sing
I will praise and I shall always plea
From the heart of such a simple man
I say these not so simple words of three
Which speak of that which is more complex
But simply said, I love thee

Tossing words like wishful coins into the deep well of an open heart. R. fox

Ron, is your wife just LOVING this? What a true romantic you are. This sounds like something from long ago, the style, (and the actuality of a romantic man) Beautiful.

"I'm nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody, too?
Then there's a pair of us -don't tell!
They'd banish us, you know."

From: I'm Nobody! Who are You? by Emily Dickinson

Come, take my hand
a friend indeed, you to me.
I pray demand the seas to calm
beneath  your rage of boat.
Neither depths nor width
shall seperate
this special love for thee.
Together, we'll search for you
the peace within you seek.

I have always felt the love and devotion of my husband. I thought he was the only man on earth who could make a woman feel so loved. Now I know that among Passions there are more men who not only tell their wives they love them but want the world to know. This is a very beautiful piece of work. Your wife is very lucky and I know she knows it.

~~~ Ron ~~~
I have to agree with my friend Sandra.....it is always such a pleasant shock to discover the actuality of a romantic man. I'm afraid that in this day and age, you are few in number, but when we ladies find one of you, we cherish you highly!! (and envy your lucky wife!!)
Look within the heart of a poet, and you will see a reflection of their soul.
