you're all a bunch of phonies and fakes sometimes i'll say whatever it takes to get you to love me love me please dont ever not love me i'm pretty i'm adorable twice stitched to never tear i'm seamless dreamless i come with loving care eternal guarantee you have to love me love me i don't swing my head in the air to the wanting sound of another i'm not a phony or a fake i only love you and i will 'til one day my string will break [This message has been edited by wayoutwalt (edited 11-08-2000).] |

Walt, for some reason, this brought back memories of when I was a horrid little snot. My sister used to have a slew of these little dollies that would spew out some tinny message when you yanked their chain. Weeeelllll.....I kinda sorta got sick of the same dribbly litany, so I pulled the string out, cut it, and retied it to the knob....no matter how hard she yanked, the only thing that came out was blissful silence...until she threw a fit....... |

Whew! I thought you meant the poets here! What a relief. But this is sad isn't it? Sometimes we show our true selves and find out the other person doesn't really want us. Does my response to this poem prove that I am a phony or a fake or will this disprove that silly notion...btw this is one guy in Hawaii that likes bush...and that vote was real not phony....James |
