Making Love

Sweet, heavenly delight each time we kiss
Sets a beating in my heart I can't ignore
Our mouths come together in passion's bliss.

Such a beating it set my heart to soar
Exploring, caressing our hands meet
Bodies throbbing all we want is more

Teasing, Invading, our tongues softly greet
Smoldering eyes, begging for unity
Bodies so fevered steam rises from the heat

Joining and throbbing bodies moving free
Fired kisses melting, all we want is this
Then tremors subsiding, you’re all I see

Coming together again lips join in bliss
An expression of love each time we kiss

Things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things
which matter least.

Mr. Yeats would you KINDLY turn the heat down?...whew...

Karilea
If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, then speak loudly and be bound.

Okay, so we now know that you enjoy turning on the heat and seeing how many of us you can turn to the cold showers. lol.  Exceptionally lovely sonnet from you my friend.  Keep that crown shining as you do so well.

This is called a terza rima
As Wilfred Yeats turns up the steam-a
With a kiss that's-a really bella
Think I like this-a passion-a fella
All the ladies, they all know him
He's too sexy for his poem

Lovely passionate verse, my friend

Karilea - Mark
I struggle with meter and this cascading rhyme scheme - and you two complain about the heat! - sheesh! (seriously - thank you both) btw Mark - I gave my crown to deer - you and he can compete - I just want to be a lover.

Victoria-
It was really a fun write - not half as bad as the really complex repeating forms - and the inspiration made it easy ~G~

Liz-
For a lady who likes-a my rhyming
I hope that-a her bell I been chiming
For she pleases me a-so
Her poetry-a just glow
I'ma just be reading all the timeing

Martie - you shoulda be tasting my meatballs
~G~ Thank you
