on the horizon of a fairytale

My Spirit Breathes…

It was you who found me…lost…
tumbling to the depths of loneliness…
struggling to breathe

Cautiously you extended your hand
and nurtured me in the embrace of
your heart

In the tenderness of your smile
you harboured me from the ghosts
still haunting the ruins of my past

in the sincerity of your eyes
my heart learned to once again trust
and I did grasp the love you so
genuinely offered

because you have shared with me
the very center of who you are
the spirit which lives inside of me
now breathes in love

Look within the heart of a poet, and you will see a reflection of their soul.

So tenderly woven...the delicate verse
touched my heart...this is just the way the
strongest bonds begin...starting at the soul
and working their way out..Excellent writing~
