There upon a satin pillow case Resides an abandoned tear Of memories held from times ago Reflecting hearts once embraced in forevermore's With one toss in the rinse cycle removes away the tear Hang it out on clothesline in summer's air to breathe Iron out the crinkles and static energy Slip on the brushed cotton it comforts you in dreams And forget about two pillows treat yourself to three Coco |

Dani~ I found this hiding on the laundry shelf. You know me ... leave a tear of remember around ... and I'll find it. It's just wonderfully nostalgic with remembering. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Well said, Coco. I like the third pillow idea, too. If it makes you uncomfortable you can punch it into shape or just throw it on the floor! Dee I wish you every happiness and pray you'll always have the best of the good things in life. a brand |

When a tear is left on a pillow case, and only one...it is hard to concentrate on the tear, hard to follow it through the rest of its life. I myself want to concentrate on the larger picture, the person who shed that single tear. I want to know why, to explore the emotions that led to shedding only one tear. But you....you now. You've gone and got all focused on me. You followed that tear all the way through the rinse cycle and the ironing board and the clothesline and everything. You have got some serious concentration going on there. Excellently accomplished. |

I apologize for not rendering a reply earlier as I've been busy reading as you probably know and at times I kinda shy back in responses. But, I must say that your replies to this ONE poem has touched my heart. ~ONE tear indeed you read it rite... ~ONE thought of a time resides in her mind... Hugs2AllOfU Dani |
