The loss I feel is nothing but An afterthought To the love you've given me I've never felt so much of something So much but Now I wish I could be More to you. I've dreamt of us together since I've known That you could love me too And it's been everything I hoped Everything, soon I can be More to you. I've held your hand in hard times I hoped I could help you and get you through Then I realized you had to help yourself It's helped, although Maybe my help one day it will mean More to you. I've kissed your tears away- Kissed your trembling lips as they Spoke words that touched my heart. I've known the secrets of your past You've trusted me with the darkest parts. I've loved you beyond anything I've felt I've given my heart, my body, my words My beloved, I'm afraid I can't be much More to you. |
