I write this to you Logan and Landon I hope my words help to see you through Life that is It's harder than you will ever think. Two nephews I have So young and uninformed Nobody has told them yet That someday they'll wish they were never born So, I come in To try and help To maybe make your life easier Than mine was or ever will be There are two reasons That I'm still alive And they are the two of you While growing in life Remember these words They may be short and simple But the value is immense If I would have known back then I would not feel like my life is closed in a fence. --Be yourself-- Who really matters, when it comes to what other people think? Just you, nobody else. --Ask for help-- On anything big or small show your weakness and love will call you will get hurt, but after all you never know who will come to HELP ease the hurt The final thing to say is, --Take opportunities-- After all Those are what make you succeed Don't be scared have confidence that's all you need Pass nothing up Grow every seed Live a full life That's all that you need. I hope you take these words to heart They are my gift to you For your smiles and laughter bring immense joy in my heart The joy that I need To keep in my head For without you two, I might just be dead. |
