I Need Eve God I can't really look you in the eyes still I kindof know where you're coming from. Way before you took that rest on day seven you already created a special blessing in heaven. Even though you finished creating man you weren't about to rest that seventh day until you took a rib and created a woman for man and finally finished the master plan. You called him Adam he named her Eve. They soon discovered the beauty of each other and they did conceive. Many more did follow as per your plan. Each generation begot new ones and now here we stand. And as I look around me I see women everywhere still I believe only one will truly care and only one is destined for my life to share. God this is Adam and I need Eve. So much lovelines and beauty to see. Yet somehow I know Eve is all I need. Jameslee@November02,2000 |

If this is written from your heart, James, I hope He brings her to you. Such a lovely way of expressing the need for completion that so many of us are looking for, it seems. Wonderfully written, and I thank you. Rainydays |

I truly enjoyed reading this James. I've not a history here to know what your poems have been like, but this sample is delightful. Rainydays' response is the easiest for me to echo, wholeheartedly. S/he has said so well what I might have tried to say. |
