Passion's Afterglow Breathless we are now, My head nuzzled closely against your chest. Your heart pounding, In rhythm with mine. As we lie peacefully in lover's rest. * * * * * Candlelight dancing, Romance swirling, Filling our room. Softly we inhale the aroma, Of passion's deep perfume. * * * * * Your strong fingers, Glide across my face, Gently they move, Tenderly they trace. * * * * * Warm sweet kisses, Breathed upon my hair, This is the afterglow, Our bodies quietly share. * * * * * Tears of joy, Run down my flushing cheeks. Unspoken promises, Shared between our hearts, Vows of love to keep. * * * * * Drifting off in sleep now, Held in tight embrace. We shall meet again in dream, But not before one last kiss, Upon your loving face. |
