Through heartache and tears, time went on.
We learned to live with mum gone.
Sorry It has been so long since I have posted. I do read everyones work when I get a chance, just unfortunatly need to make some time to share.
Thanks for sharing and for the people who have replied to my earlier post.

-------------------------

Then like a realy bad dream
history repeated with a simular scene.
The phone call came during the day
a family friends voice, anguished with pain.
I’m sorry I can’t find the words,
the news is not good, through tears I heard
You have to come now to be by his side,
I hung up the phone and broke down and cried.
Standing beside him memories came fludding back
of not so long ago, in my stomach I felt sick.
It’s cancer they told me, so far advanced
to save his life now, operation’s his only chance.
So as I watched them wheel him in
death was waiting with a grin,
He wasn’t so easy, he gave up a fight
but lost his voice box in surgery that night.
So now he is breathing with a hole in
the throat, when he moves his lips no sounds
appear, my anguish awaits, my greatest fear.
Seven long weeks we had to endure
when radiotheropy they hoped would cure,
sadly enough still no gaurantee, he keeps on looking
his eyes trying to smile at me.
At least I still have him,  although I can’t hear him.
Awaiting the answer if all went ok, this they cant tell us
their game we must play.

Expressions,
are the most important aspects, they create impressions

Take comfort in knowing that many share your pain, my friend.  We're all there with you,
and though not as close, we share your sorrow. Let the love I see in your writing be your guide; here's a piece of me to help you along.

Hi Fee,

I have not of yet had the chance to meet you, but I want you to know that my heart goes out to you and to your friend. I will keep you and your friend in my prayers.

Love, Cerenity

I guess I should have mentioned somewhere in my thoughts that this is written about my Dad.

Thank you all for your hugs and encouraging prayers.
Time will tell, and yes I do hear him in my heart. That is where you will always here the truth and the things you need to hear.

Hugs to u all.
